CBSE Question Bank: Affiliated Schools to Submit Previous Year Question Papers
CBSE has decided to prepare a question bank for classes 9 to 12 for which the schools affiliated with CBSE will send their previous years' question papers. The schools will also send the marking scheme along.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be preparing a question bank for classes 9-12. This question bank will be user-friendly and will also be available on an IT platform. It will be accessible not just for students but also for the teachers. CBSE has asked the schools affiliated with it to submit their previous year question papers for classes 9 and 11, and for the internal examinations for classes 10th and 12th.
The questions can be for all subjects such as Science, Hindi, English, Mathematics and Social Science for classes 9th and 10th. For classes 11th and 12th, the subjects that will be covered are Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Hindi core and elective, Accountancy, English core and elective, Economics, History, Business Studies, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Physical Education, Sociology and Computer Science. Skill vocational subjects for classes 9th to 12th for the previous years as per their availability with school/group of schools.

The schools will also have to submit the marking scheme along with the questions. In addition to the question papers, CBSE has also asked the schools to submit the answer copies for each subject’s topper for each of the exams and those answers will be used as the benchmark. Schools are not required to send the details of the students whose answer copies will be used as a benchmark in order to safeguard the privacy of the students.

Apart from this, schools can also send other things such as any other set of questions such as aptitude tests or problem-solving assessment.
