CBSE Announces Re-examination for Class 12 Economics and Class 10 Maths Exams
- CBSE Board has announced the re-examination of class 10 Maths exam and Class 12 Economics exam.
- The date of the re-exam has not been announced and will be available soon on the official website of CBSE.
The Central Board for Secondary Examination (CBSE) has announced that it will conduct the class 10 maths and class 12 economics exam again. The decision was taken after the reports of leaks starting surfacing the social media websites. The Class 10 maths exam was held on March 28, whereas, Class 12 Economics exam was held on March 27, 2017.
According to the most recent statement released by the CBSE Board, the current events have been taken into account and the misconducts have been processed. In order to uphold the sanctity of CBSE class 10 and 12 exams, the board has decided to reconduct the two exams, the statement added.

The CBSE Board also announced that the dates of the re-examination and other details will be released on the official website of the board within a week’s time.
Earlier, the CBSE board had stated that there had not been any leak of question papers and that the seals were intact. The board had refuted any claims that the papers were leaked but had assure that individuals responsible to spread false news on social websites will be punished.
The board has also stated that it wants all the students to get a fair chance during exam and an equal opportunity to perform. All malpractices will be checked and culprits will be punished accordingly, the CBSE board clarified.
