NCERT Revised Activities Calendar for CBSE

The NCERT revised academic calendar for classes 1 to 12 will enable students to learn standardised and quality curriculum for the home itself. In its initial stage, the calendar is for four weeks and may be extended further, depending upon the situation. All schools have been shut due to a nationwide lockdown to stop the further spread of COVID-19. However, CBSE is conducting online classes for the students but a framework like this will ensure both quality and standard.

According to the official statement, not every teacher and student has to access to the online classroom facilities. The activities are designed in such a manner that they can be easily conducted by the parents and students in their own way after talking to teachers over the phone or so.

The NCERT calendar for CBSE includes week wise plan with interesting and fun activities with reference to theme or chapters from the respective textbooks. The most interesting aspect is that it maps the themes with the learning outcomes. This aims to develop learning beyond textbooks.
