CBSE in its official notification on 28 March, declared that it will re-conduct the maths paper for class 10 maths paper and economics paper for class 12 after realising reports of question paper leak. Due to this, the board has decided that the exams should be reconducted to uphold the sanctity of board examnation and also to maintain the fairness. CBSE has also released the new dates of the respective exams and other details will be declared on the official website of the CBSE within a week.

One of the people who has filed the online petition said that this move is fairly wrong as many students have other plans and events. Some students and their families were looking to migrate and this sudden decision can lead to chaos and confusion among the students.

The board's move comes after a handwritten note with the same questions as the CBSE question papers were found circulating on social media message application days before the exams in these papers were conducted.
