CBSE Exams 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) hosted a live webinar today to outline exam day procedures for the CBSE Term 2 Exam 2022. The webinar was conducted for school administrators and instructors involved in the test process to learn about the important modalities and exam-day requirements. Officials from the CBSE affirmed during the webinar said that students will receive their final CBSE Result 2022 for the 10th or 12th exam even if they missed any of the term exams. Around 35 lakh students are expected to appear for CBSE 10th and 12th Exam 2022 for Term 2 from Tuesday onwards, according to preliminary estimates.

CBSE Results for Students who Skip Term 1 or 2 Exams

One of the most significant and unexpected announcements made by the CBSE Board today during the webinar concerned the preparation of absentee results. The CBSE Board Exam 2022 is being held in a bifurcated style for the 2022 session, with Term 1 taking place in December and Term 2 taking place in April and May. Officials from the CBSE confirmed during the webinar that students who missed or skipped either of the Term Exams will be given final scores. However, the board will require formal submission of the student's cause for missing the exam, and the explanation provided for missing the exam must be sufficient. If the reason is judged to be valid, the CBSE Board will devise a mechanism for calculating students' final scores based on a single term exam.

However, students who have not appeared for either of the term exams or who do not have a valid cause for skipping the exam will not be given a final grade. These kids would have to wait an additional year before taking the CBSE Board Exams 2022.

COVID Positive Students Permitted to take CBSE Term 2 Exam

Another significant announcement made by the CBSE board was that any kid who tested positive for COVID-19 during the Term 2 Exam period will be allowed to sit for the exam. Exam centres have been told to set up a separate exam room for COVID-19 positive students, where they will be able to show up and write the exam. Additionally, in the interest of other students' safety and health, parents and students who have received the virus or are showing symptoms have been asked to notify the exam centre and board so that appropriate assistance can be offered to them in order to attend for the exam.

COVID-19 Exam Center Precautions

With COVID-19 cases on the rise, particularly in the Delhi-NCR and neighbouring areas, the board has recommended that all health and safety requirements for students be carefully enforced. Students will be expected to wear face masks and sit in socially-distanced forms at the exam centre in order to comply with this. In total, only 18 pupils are permitted to sit in a CBSE Term 2 Test 2022 exam hall / class room. The board has assigned two invigilators to each test venue to guarantee a smooth conduct of the Term 2 Exams.
