The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2015 examination on December 27 triumphantly.
People from 88 cities participated in the exam and 1344 examination centers across the nation were allotted to comprise a total of 7,65,031 candidates which registered for the exam.
The examination is conducted by CBSE on behalf of UGC, two times a year.
This exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professors or Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professors in Indian universities and colleges.
The exam consisted of three papers:
Paper 1 consisted 60 questions, the time given to solve these questions was 1 Hour and 15 minutes, out of which the candidates were required to attempt 50 questions. This paper was for 100 marks.
Paper 2 consisted 50 questions, the time given to solve these question was 1 Hour and 15 minutes. The paper was of 100 marks.
Paper 3 was a collection of 70 questions and was allotted 2 Hours and 30 minutes. It was a total of 150 marks.
Result:
Result of exam December 2016 will be out in the month of March or April 2016.
