Chandigarh University to Offer Rs. 10 Crore Scholarships to Rajasthan Students
- Chandigarh University will conduct CU SAT (Chandigarh University Scholarship Admission Test) 2018 to shortlist candidates seeking scholarships.
- Students aspiring to join UG courses are eligible to appear for CU SAT.
Recently, Chandigarh University has launched professional career counselling facility for Rajasthan students. During the launch, the varsity announced that it would offer Rs. 10 crore scholarships to Rajasthan students. For this purpose, the varsity will conduct CU SAT (Chandigarh University Scholarship Admission Test) 2018 to select the students for the scholarship scheme. The top-performing students of the SAT can avail the benefits of scholarship scheme.
About CU SAT: -
- The scholarship scheme is not applicable for the students seeking admission to Lateral Entry Engineering and Post Graduate courses.
- Students aspiring to join UG courses are eligible to appear for CU SAT.
- CU SAT is a great opportunity for the students to improve their score as the varsity gives 60% weightage to CU SAT score and 40% weightage of the qualifying examination.
- The varsity will provide 100% scholarship to top 1% of students.
- Top 2% of students will be eligible for 50% scholarship.
- Top 3% of students will be eligible for 25% scholarships.
- The varsity will provide 10% of scholarship to top 4% students.
- Over 5% of students, scoring above 60% in CU SAT will get assured scholarship.

On January 30, 2018, the varsity conducted the career-counselling session for Class 12 students where students will be given an in-depth understanding of courses available and career prospects.
