DTE or the Directorate of Technical Education has announced the MAH CET syllabus, MAH CET exam pattern and MAH CET marking scheme for the year 2017.
DTE or the Directorate of Technical Education has announced the MAH CET syllabus, MAH CET exam pattern and MAH CET marking scheme for the year 2017. Registrations for the management entrance exam will begin soon. MAH CET 2017 is a computer-based test that will be conducted on March 4 & 5, 2017 across all centers within the country.
JBIMS – one of the most sought colleges of the state – will not be participating in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2017 organized by DTE Maharashtra. Admission to JBIMS will be controlled by the institute, however, the institute will be accepting MAH CET 2017 scores along with CAT 2016 scores. PI rounds will be conducted by JBIMS for students who will be shortlisted basis their score.

Admission to all MBA, MMS and PGDM courses provided by more than 400 colleges in the state is done through CAP. Close to 44,000 students will be provided seats on the basis of MAH CET 2017.

Topics Covered:
Every section has different type of questions. Check out the type of questions asked in every section:
- Logical and Abstract Reasoning: this section contains questions that will test your accuracy and alertness. This section will contain questions based on diagrams and verbal reasoning.
- Quantitative Aptitude: this section comprises of questions based on elementary mathematics. Questions will be asked from topics like percentage, ratio and proportion, probability, etc. Graph and table related questions will also be asked in this section.
- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension: this section will comprise passages, sentences and other grammatical questions. This section tests your understanding of the English language. Questions based on vocabulary, antonyms, synonyms, etc. are also asked in this section.

MAH CET 2017 is an alternative entrance exam for candidates who have either not given CAT 2016 or have not performed well in it. Such candidates can apply through that for MAH CET 2017 for premier b-schools colleges in Maharashtra such as KJ Somaiya, NL Dalmiya, SIMSREE, DSIMS, PUMBA, MET and others.
