The organising body has announced the JEE Mains 2017 cut-off required for JEE Advanced 2017. The result of JEE Mains 2017 was announced by CBSE on April 27, 2017, giving the qualifying students time to prepare for JEE Advanced.
Applicants can check their score and All India Rank (AIR) on the official website of the exam. Along with the score, the organisers have also mentioned the qualifying status of the candidates for JEE Advanced 2017.

The cut-offs this year have more or less remained the same. There have been some minor changes in the cut-off for general students.

As declared by the exam conducting body, only the top 2, 20,000 applicants who qualify the JEE Main 2017 exam will be eligible for the JEE Advanced 2017 exam. Apart from this, students must also qualify the basic eligibility criteria for the exam.
JEE Advanced will be conducted on May 21, 2017, in pen-paper mode. Admission to the 11,032 seats offered by the various Indian Institutes of Technology across India will be done on the basis of JEE Advanced result.

The JEE Mains exam was conducted in both pen-paper and computer based modes on April 2 and April 8 & 9 respectively. The counselling and seat allocation will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2017. Students will be able to register for the counselling process from June 15, 2017.
