Christ University Golden Jubilee Celebrations to Start from 11th July
Christ University will complete 50 glorious years of imparting knowledge to 65,000 since its establishment on 11th July 2018. The university will also inaugurate its own stamp during the Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
Christ University will celebrate its Golden Jubilee on Wednesday, 11th July 2018. The prestigious university will complete its 50 glorious years of teaching over 65,000 students since 1969. The university will also inaugurate its own stamp at the Golden Jubilee celebration.
To grace the event with his presence, Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi will deliver the speech at the Golden Jubilee on 11th July and the chief guest for the event will be Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of AICTE.
Alumni members such as Infosys Foundation Chairperson, Sudha Murthy, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and Journalist Raj Chengappa among others will be the guest of honours during the celebrations.

Fr Abraham VM, Vice-Chancellor, Christ University, Bangalore said the university's goal is to promote research and to increase the publications so that they can join the league of premier institutions like Manipal University. The varsity is also planning to establish a research centre by the next academic year within the campus to promote more research-oriented projects.
Christ University has over 21,000 students enrolled in various different courses at its campus. It is one of the popular institutions for MBA and humanities programmes in the country. The university offers as many as 48 undergraduates, 48 postgraduate, and 17 doctoral programmes.
