CLAT 2023: For UG and PG, the Consortium of NLUs has scheduled CLAT 2023 for December 18, 2022. The exam will be held from 2 PM to 4 PM and the reporting time for it is 1:00 PM. While reporting at the examination centre, there are certain documents the candidate is required to carry. By referring to these documents, an authorized person will first verify these documents before allowing entry to the examination hall.

Aside from the required documents listed below, the candidates must carry a black/blue ballpoint pen, a face mask, and a small transparent bottle of hand sanitizer. A transparent water bottle is also allowed. If required, candidates can wear an analogue watch. However, digital watches are not allowed.

The following are CLAT 2023 exam day documents:

1. CLAT 2023 Admit Card

  • Bringing CLAT admit card 2023 to the examination centre is mandatory. No candidate without the admit card will be allowed inside the examination centre.
  • It is also obligatory for the candidate to print their online admit card. The exam centre will not accept a soft copy of the admit card.
  • The admit card shall only be printed on A4-size papers. Do not use legal papers or of other sizes.
  • The admit card can be either a colour copy or a grayscale.
  • The signature on the admit card shall be done in front of the invigilator.
  • Ensure that there are no other markings on the admit card.
  • In case the photograph of the candidate is not clear, then such candidates must bring an attested photograph with them.
  • Important: The admit card signed by the invigilator must be preserved until the end of the admission process. It will be required to be uploaded and submitted at the time of counselling.

2. Original Photo ID Proof

  • In addition to CLAT 2023 admit card, the candidate must present an original valid photo ID to check their identity, photograph, birth date, and other information.
  • The identity document must be the original. Its Xerox copy will not be considered.
  • Any one of the documents listed here is an acceptable photo ID proof:
    • Aadhar Card
    • Driving license
    • Voter ID Card
    • PAN Card
    • Passport
