CLAT 2025 Result Revision Case SC Judgement: On January 15, 2025, the Supreme Court of India met to discuss a request about cases related to the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) asked the apex court to combine all the current petitions from different High Courts into one case. The Court preferred transferring the CLAT 2025 cases to the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The Supreme Court will consolidate all petitions regarding CLAT 2025 into one High Court for faster resolution, with notification to lawyers and a return date in the week of February 3, 2025.

Currently, petitions are pending in various High Courts, including Karnataka, Delhi and others. PV Sanjay Kumar and Justices Sanjiv Khanna discussed the implications of this transfer. According to a Live Law report, Chief Justice Khanna noted that the first petition regarding CLAT 2025 was filed in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, which is known for resolving cases quickly. However, some lawyers argued that the Delhi High Court should oversee the matter due to a prior order related to errors in the CLAT 2025 answer key.
The bench decided that all writ petitions pending in various courts should be managed by a single High Court for efficiency, with a hearing set for the week of February 3, 2025, transferring cases to the Punjab and Haryana High Court. This follows the Delhi High Court's December 20, 2024, order for the Consortium of NLUs to revise the CLAT 2025 results due to errors in the final answer key. The court identified two errors in Set A: correcting question 14 to option C and removing question 100 entirely, which required adjustments in other exam paper sets. The judge emphasized that ignoring these errors would deny justice to the petitioners, highlighting the significant impact such mistakes can have on candidates' futures.
