CLAT Counselling Expected Start Date 2025: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is yet to declare the official date of releasing the CLAT counselling date 2025. In 2023, the CLAT counselling was commenced in last week of December.  Based on the previous year’s trends, it can be assumed that CLAT 2025 counselling process will start within 1 to 2 days after result or 7 to 8 days after the exam. Considering the previous year’s trends, the CLAT counselling process will be started with the registration process. Before that, the authority will release a detailed official notification on the official website, within 3 to 4 days. Candidates who will get the minimum cutoff marks in the CLAT 2025 exam, will be eligible to participate in the counselling registration process.

The CLAT 2025 counselling will be conducted in five rounds. The counselling process consists the steps like registration, counselling fee, exercising of web options, editing of web options, the release of seat allotment results, and reporting to the allotted colleges. Candidates will be allocated seats based on their rank in the merit list and NLUs seat matrix. Candidates wishing to participate in CLAT 2025 Counselling must receive a formal invitation via email, SMS, or the CLAT admission portal.

Only invited candidates can register for the counselling process, so they should frequently check their email, SMS, and portal for updates on their eligibility. Candidates who will not secure a seat or have already allotted a seat in Round 1, but want to upgrade their seat in Round  2, can participate in the CLAT Round 2 counselling process.
