CLAT First Merit List 2024: The Consortium of NLUs will release the CLAT First Merit List 2024 on December 26. Candidates who will not be satisfied with their allotted college in the first round can participate in the second round of the counselling process. If they are satisfied with the college in the first round then they will have to pay the confirmation fee for Freeze and Float options and admission by NLUs.

What after the CLAT First Merit List 2024?

Once the first seat allotment list has been released, candidates can choose any of these three options- Freeze, Float, or Exit. If candidates are satisfied with the seat allotted to them then they can choose the option "Freeze" and pay the confirmation fee. Once they choose this option, they will not be able to take part in the further allotment process. If they're not satisfied with the seat then they can choose "Float". With the help of this option, they can save their seat from the first round and also participate in the second round of seat allotment. After registration, if candidates do not want to proceed with the counselling process then he/ she can choose the "Exit" option to exit the process.
