A linguistic minority cell is going to be setup in the Bihar’s state capital city by the state’s education department.
The Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar on the 17th April said the Bihar government would soon set up a “linguistic minority cell” in minority welfare department to listen to the grievances of the linguistic minority population of the state.
The platinum jubilee of the Bengali Association of the state of Bihar was being celebrated at the AN Sinha Institute of Social Studies in Patna, the CM also-also announced a one-time stipend of Rs10, 000 to the children belonging to the linguistic minority population of the state after passing the SSC exam in the 1st division.
The meet at the AN Sinha Institute of Social Sciences was mainly focussing on the interests of the students and the commoners of the linguistic minority in the state. The state government’s education department also seeks to provide the students with facilities in order to be found by better opportunities. The meet also focussed upon addressing the problems of the students and the common people who had once migrated from East Bengal that is the Bangladesh refugees. The silver jubilee was also marked by an addressing speech by Chief Minister of the state Mr. Nitish Kumar.
