The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) Shift 1 concluded at 12 pm on March 31. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CMAT which is among the most popular MBA entrance exams in India.
The difficulty level of CMAT Shift 1 was moderate except for the GK section. Most of the exam takers reported that the GK section was difficult as compared to the other sections. Around 4 RCs were asked in the CMAT 2021 exam. Besides this, the Reasoning section was the easier section of the CMAT 2021 Shift 1 exam. CMAT 2021 Shift 1 Overall Exam Analysis
CMAT 2021 was conducted on March 2021 from 9 am-12 pm. The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate except for the GK section. The difficulty level of the GK section was high. The Reasoning section was easily doable. The quantitative section comprised more than 50% easily doable questions.

Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
Most of the questions asked in this section were from Geometry, Arithmetic and Algebra. Questions from Permutation and Combination were also asked in CMAT 2021 exam. The difficulty level of this section was reported to be moderate.

General Awareness
The difficulty level of the General Awareness section was high as compared to other sections. Some major topics that were covered in the GK section were history, awards, sports, science, civics and books. Many questions were asked from Current Affairs. Out of the 25 questions that were asked in the General Awareness section, candidates who have successfully attempted 19+ questions with 100% accuracy will surely be able to score well in this section.
Language Comprehension
The number of RCs asked in the CMAT 2021 exam were higher as compared to the previous years' exams. Around 4 RCs were asked in the CMAT 2021 Shift 1 exam that contained 14 questions. Besides the RCs, questions from Vocabulary, Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks, the meaning of the word, Active-Passive Voice were also asked in this section. The overall difficulty level of the Language Comprehension section was Moderate. A good attempt of 20+ section in the Language Comprehension section will surely help the candidates to get a good score.

Logical Reasoning
The Logical Reasoning section was the easiest section of the CMAT 2021 Shift 1 exam. Around 20-21 questions from the Logical Reasoning section were easily doable. Some of the major topics that were covered in the LR section were Arrangements, Rank and Order, Series, Syllogism, Direction Sense, Blood Relation and Statement-Conclusion. Candidates who have answered more than 21 questions will surely be able to score well in the Logical Reasoning section. The Innovation & Entrepreneurship section was an optional section in the CMAT 2021 Shift 1 exam. It was introduced recently by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who were looking for admission in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship need to answer this section. The difficulty level of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship section was Moderate. An attempt of 17-18 questions with 100% accuracy is a good attempt for this section.
