NTA has conducted CMAT 2020 on January 28, 2020 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in 104 cities across India at 245 test centres. The exam took place in the online mode and roughly over 60,000 candidates appeared for the exam out of 74,486 registered candidates. CMAT 2020 Analysis
As per the CMAT 2020 overall analysis, the paper had a moderate difficulty level and the cutoffs are not expected to be very high. The General Knowlledge section was difficult, Logical Reasoning had a moderate difficulty level, Quantitative section was easy and Langage Comprehension was also easy.

Overall Level of Difficulty-The overall level of difficulty of the CMAT 2020 exam was moderate.
Toughest Section-The General Awareness section was seen as the toughest section.
Questions from Logical Reasoning- Logical reasoning had 25 questions from verbal reasoning and analytical reasoning. The analytical questions were from topics like distribution, grouping, arrangement, coding/ decoding, comparions, blood relations, directions, cube, sequence, clock, and calendar etc. Verbal reasoning included reasoning & assertion, statement conclusion, statement argument and word relationship.
Questions from General Awareness-This section had questions from Static GK and Current affairs. There were questions from the Indian Constitution, famous personalities, politics etc.
Questions from Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation- This section had questions from work, time, speed, average, distance, table, pie charts, functions, linear equations, triangles, mensuration and trignometry.
Language Comprehension- Language Comprehension had only 1 passage based on reformer and the critics. It also included questions from reading comprehension and verbal ability. Reading comprehension had 6 questions and the remaining ones were from the verbal ability portion. Verbal ability included antonym and synonym, idiom/ phrase, identifying correct sentence, FIJ (fact, inference and judgement), word analogy etc. Verbal Ability questions covered the areas including- para jumble, idiom/ phrase, antonym and synonym, identify correct sentence, FIJ (fact, inference and judgement), word analogy, identify part with error, fill in the blanks etc.

CMAT 2020 Exam Pattern and Weightage
CMAT 2020 question paper will include multiple choice questions which have to be attempted in three hours. There is no sectional time limit available and candidates are free to choose the order of questions they wish to solve. Check the CMAT 2020 exam pattern below:

CMAT 2019 Slot I Exam Analysis
