While the MBA aspirants are gearing up for the upcoming Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2017, a lot of candidates might be curious to know the next steps involved in the admission process to their dream B-schools, after they are through with the CMAT.
Once the results for CMAT 2017 are announced, candidates who pass the cutoff or make it to the merit list are called for the final selection process by the respective colleges that they applied for at the time of registration.
The final selection process for CMAT is conducted by the institutes and generally consists of following steps:
- Group Discussion (GD)/ Written Aptitude Test (WAT)
- Personal Interview (PI)
- Final Selection
Based on the performance in GD/WAT and PI, institutes give out a final selection list which is either published on the website or sent to the selected candidates.
