CMC Vellore MBBS 2016: Registration to start from February 18

Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMC), Vellore is about to host medical entrance exam called CMC Vellore medical entrance exam. This is an all India level examination which is conducted every year for the candidates who want to take admission in the MBBS courses of the institute.

42 seats are reserved for female candidates. The registrations for the same will commence from February 18 and the exam will be conducted on May 20. According to official notification released by Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore , stage 1 of CMC Vellore MBBS 2016 will be conducted on May 20 and Stage 2 from June 13 to 15.

The candidates interested in appearing for this exam must have passed higher secondary examination from Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent board with 60 percent marks in total aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology taken together). Candidates who will appear for higher secondary examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply for the entrance test but their admission will be subjected to fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

Stage 1 will be a computer based test as per the syllabus prescribed by the examination authority. There will be total 60 questions the online question booklet each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject. Those who will qualify the stage 1 will be called for stage 2 which will be a written test that will assess candidates' general ability, speed, accuracy and general knowledge.

The interested candidates can apply through online mode only. No other modes will be accepted.
