The important tips to properly enter the college choices to get the best college at your rank level are outlined here:

• Foremost, it is important to know the category-wise expected cutoffs for all colleges and branches as well as the seat matrix for the same. Both can be accessed through the links below:
  • COMEDK 2022 Cutoff Ranks after All Rounds
  • COMEDK Seat Matrix 2023 for B.Tech Counselling
• List out the college-branch combinations that are your most preferred, regardless of their cutoff ranks.
• Now, note down their cutoff ranks for your applicable category: General or HRK.
• If they fall in your rank range, chances are high that you will be allocated any of these most preferred colleges. You can allocate the topmost priorities to these colleges, again in descending order as the preference number for each college-branch combination is unique.
• If no college falls in your rank range, go through the cutoff list and note down the colleges that are at your rank level ± 2000 ranks approximately. This is to ensure that if a cutoff drops for any college, you do not miss out on the opportunity.
• From this, further shortlist the colleges that you can take admission at. Again, arrange them as per your priority.
• Add these colleges under your most preferred colleges that were listed without reference to ranks.
• If this way the colleges and courses are listed, you can make out the most of the opportunity and obtain the best allocation as per your rank.
