Committee Formed by HRD for Selection of IIM Directors

A selection committee is formed by the Human Resources Department Ministry also known as HRD Ministry. The selection committee is set up for selection of directors for IIMs i.e Indian Institute of Management.

The committee has already suggested names for the following management institutes:

• IIM Sambalpur
• IIM Sirmaur
• IIM Nagpur
• IIM Amritsar
• IIM Bodh Gaya
• IIM Visakhapatnam

And advertisement in newspapers and on website has been published for the following IIMs:

• IIM Tiruchirappalli
• IIM Udaipur
• IIM Kozhikode

On the other hand, for following institutes applications has been submitted against the advertisement issued:

• IIT Tirupati
• IIT Palakkad
• IIT Bhilai
• IIT Dharwad
• IIT Jammu
• IIT Goa

Mahendra Nath, the minister of state for HRD said that for the following management institutes the committee has already suggested names:

• IIM Ranchi
• IIM Raipur
• IIM Bangalore
• IIM Rohtak

• NIT Allahabad
• NIT Durgapur
• NIT Jaipur
• NIT Jalandhar
• NIT Kurukshetra
• NIT Rourkela
• NIT Surat
