Due to the Bihar State Assembly Elections and national festival Diwali being around the same time, AMU Entrance Exams 2020 have been rescheduled. This includes all the national levels and departmental entrance exams scheduled to be held in the month of November. The new dates of AMU exams have been announced and can be checked below. The decision has been taken since two of the Examinations Centres are in Bihar.
Earlier, in the view of the coronavirus pandemic and the advisory from the Government of India, the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) had postponed all university examinations earlier and shifted them to November 2020. In addition to that, the university had also postponed all the university level exams that were scheduled until 2nd April 2020. The Aligarh Muslim University had further asked the hostelers of AMU to not panic and be cautious while travelling to their hometowns. The decision came after the rise in coronavirus cases in India and as a precautionary measure against the same.

The Maulana Azad Library on the AMU campus shall also remain closed until further notice. Moreover, the Aligarh Muslim University has also postponed exams of all the distance learning courses for candidates in the cities/state(s) of Murshidabad (West Bengal), Kerala, Aligarh, New Delhi and Kishangarh (Bihar). The exam was scheduled to begin on 15th March.
The administrative officials of AMU earlier said that the university has also postponed all cultural programmes and annual hall functions. No student will be allowed to organize functions at the Kennedy Auditorium.
