The National Testing Agency as per the scheduled timetable has conducted CSIR NET 2021 June Life Sciences Group-1 examination on February 17, 2022. The Life Sciences Group-1 examination was held in the first shift. The duration of the examination was three hours. The CSIR UGC NET Life Sciences Group-1 examination began at 9:00 A.M and ended at 12:00 P.M.
Life Sciences Group-1 question paper had three sections. Section-A dealt with general aptitude. Section-B and Section- C dealt with the main subject. There were 145 questions, out of which candidates must attempt only 75 questions. There is an internal choice for every section. Section- A contained 20 questions out of the candidates must answer 15 questions. Section- B and Section- C had 50 and 75 questions respectively. Candidates are supposed to answer 35 questions from Section-B and 25 questions from Section-C. The marking scheme is for every right in Section – B and C is the same, for every right answer, candidates will be awarded 2 marks. Section C right answers carry 4 marks for every right answer. CSIR NET Life Sciences examination did have negative marking, 0.5 mark will be deducted for every wrong attempt in Section-A and Section-B and 1 mark for Section-C.
