The Life science examination will be held in two shifts: Shift 1 from 9 am to 12 pm and Shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. The question paper of CSIR UGC NET 2023 has objective questions and is divided into three parts where Part A, Part B, and Part C carry a total of 20,50, and 75 questions respectively.     • Many candidates stated that the exam was Moderate but some students also testified that the exam to them felt a bit tougher, rating the paper as Moderate to Difficult.
    • Students also stated that the paper was comparatively tougher than the previous year.
    • There were many repeated topics, especially there were multiple questions from the most important topics.
    • Some previous years' questions were directly asked in the Shift 1 paper.
    • Part C was the toughest part in the exam but Part B was said to be the trickiest.
    • In changes made this year, fewer questions when compared to previous years were asked from multiple-statement questions.

    • As for shift 1, the overall paper for shift 2 was also said to be of a moderate difficulty level.
    • Some students highlighted that the options were a bit confusing.
