CTET 2022 Exam Day Guidelines: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 in CBT mode from December 28 onwards. As per the CTET 2022 Exam Schedule, the test will be held in two shifts – Shift 1 from 9:30 to 12:00 PM and Shift 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates preparing for the exam must go through the CTET 2022 Exam Day Instructions – do’s and don’ts, things to remember etc. to avoid making mistakes at the test centre.

CTET 2022 Exam Day Instructions – Things to Do 

Candidates should be aware of the things to do or carry on the CTET 2022 Exam Day so that they do not miss out on anything important. Here’s a checklist of the things to do –

  • Candidates must report to the CTET 2022 exam centre at least an hour prior to the commencement of the test. They are advised to make arrangements for their own transportation so as to avoid being late on exam day. 

  • All examinees must arrive at the venue as per the dress code. 

  • Candidates must carry a copy of the CTET Admit Card 2022 along with ID proof, passport-size photographs and other essential documents. No candidates will be allowed to appear for the test without a valid admit card and identity proof.

  • Examinees must strictly abide by the Covid-19 norms by wearing masks and gloves inside the exam hall. They should also carry a bottle of sanitizer for personal use.

  • All candidates must have their body temperature checked at the entry gate and keep a safe distance inside the exam hall.

  • Examinees must only carry their hall tickets and a water bottle inside the exam centre

  • Candidates must pay attention to the invigilator’s instructions when filling out the attendance sheet. They must also carefully go through instructions regarding how to attempt the CBT exam.

CTET 2022 Exam Day Instructions – Things NOT to Do 

Examinees should also know what to avoid when appearing for the CTET 2022 exam –

  • Candidates must enter the exam hall unaccompanied by any relative/friends/family members

  • Candidates must not be carrying items/objects that are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. The list includes the following items –

  1. Stationery items, like books, notes, pens and markers, paper pads etc.

  2. Calculators, pagers

  3. Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, Smartwatch, electronic gadgets

  4. Sharp/inflammable objects and ornaments – pins, earrings, bracelets, belts, lighters etc.

  5. Food packets, beverages except for water

  • Candidates should not enter the premises without appropriate Covid-19 safety gear

The CTET 2022 Exam Day Instructions are to be followed strictly by all candidates. Examinees found in possession of any of the listed items or engaging in any unfair means will be barred/immediately disqualified from taking the CTET 2022 exam.
