Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test 2022 Paper 2 was conducted on January 21, 2022, in the afternoon session by CBSE Board. CTET qualifying candidates gain eligibility to register themselves for the teacher’s post in government schools across the country. CTET Paper 2 candidates aspire to teach for Upper Primary Level students i.e., from Class 6 to Class 8.

The CTET Paper 2 is divided into 4 sections as provided below, and the analysis carried out in this article is segregated as per these given sections.

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy
  2. Language-I
  3. Language-II
  4. a. Mathematics
    b. Science
    c. Social Science/Studies

Each section consists of 30 questions, each carrying one mark, except for the fourth section which carries 60 questions, similarly of one mark per question.

Major Highlights of CTET 21st January 2022 Paper 2 Analysis (First Reaction)

Some of the major highlights of CTET 21st January 2022 Paper 2 analysis are as follows:

  • The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. The passage in the language paper was a bit tricky.
  • The Mathematics section was easy. Questions were asked from Time, Train, Speed, etc.
  • The language paper was easy to moderate. There were grammar-based questions.
  • In the language section, the questions were asked from Inclusive Education, prefix & suffix, etc.
  • The CDP section was easy. Questions were asked from Howard Gardner, Jean Piaget, Vygotsky, Kohlberg, etc.
  • The Science paper was easy. Questions were asked from match the following, diseases, vitamins, solar system, etc.
  • The Social Studies section was moderate. Questions were asked from topics such as historical events, solar system, languages, etc.
