CTET 2021 Paper 1 exam has been conducted on 4th January 2022, in the morning session. The exam has been conducted for one and a half-hour. There were multiple sections that were included in Paper 1 such as Language, Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, and EVS. Paper 1 had 30 questions in each section and the maximum mark for the paper was 150. As per the student’s reaction to the exam, the paper was of moderate difficulty level. There were a few tricky questions but the paper was not very time-consuming.

The Child Development & Pedagogy section in Paper 1 was easy. There were mostly application-based questions in CDP sections. The topics from which questions were asked included Vygotsky, Kohlberg, Piaget, NEP, etc. The EVS section was of moderate difficulty level. There were a few indirect questions. The questions were asked from birds, states & regions, the process of creating utensils, etc.
The Mathematics section was also very easy. The questions were asked from topics such as weight, train, LCM, temperature, etc. There were no complex questions in Maths and there were all formula-based easy questions. The passages in the Language section were very easy to understand and direct questions were asked from the passage. The passage also included some grammar-based questions. English section had two passages and no poem.
As per the overall paper analysis, the average number of expected good attempts can be 110+.
