CTET 2021 Paper 2 exam has been conducted on January 04 in the noon session. The duration of the paper was one and a half hours and it was over at 5 PM. The question paper for Paper 2 was segregated into multiple sections including Language, Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics & Science/ Social Studies. The paper was conducted for a total of 150 questions for a total of 150 marks. The mode of the examination was online (Computer-based). As per the student’s response for Paper 2, the paper was of easy to moderate difficulty level. There were no tricky questions and the students were able to finish the paper on time.

The Child Development & Pedagogy section in Paper 2 was easy to moderate. The questions were asked from topics such as Vygotsky, Piaget, Kohlberg, NCF 2005, NEP, etc. There were no tricky questions in CDP. The Mathematics section was easy. Questions were asked from Probability, Euler, Linear Algebra, Geometry, etc. There were 4-5 questions from Geometry. Formula-based questions were asked in the Mathematics section. The Science section was also easy to moderate. Questions were asked from Nutrition, Speed, Chemical Reactions, etc. The Biology section was the easiest as per students.
The students who appeared for Social Studies found the paper to be easy to moderate. The questions in SST were direct and were not too tough. The topics from which the questions were asked included history, 22 languages, etc. As per the student’s reaction and expert’s analysis, the average number of good attempts for Paper 2 can be 120+.
