CTET December 2024 Exam Date Released: Check Paper 1 and Paper 2 schedule

CTET December 2024 Exam Date: The Central Board of Secondary Education has released CTET December 2024 exam date for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates can check out the schedule at ctet.nic.in. For convenience, the same has been provided here. As announced by the officials, both Paper 1 and Paper 2 examinations will be held on December 1, 2024, in morning and evening shifts. Paper 2 will be conducted in the morning shift, and Paper 1 in the evening shift. Check out the shift timings on the page below. Paper I will be held for candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5, and Paper II for candidates who want to teach Classes 6 to 8.

CTET December 2024 Exam Pattern
Candidates can check out the CTET December 2024 exam pattern for Paper 1 and Paper 2 below:
Paper 1
A total of 150 multiple-choice questions will be asked in CTET December 2024 examination.
The examination will be held in an offline mode.
Each paper will be conducted for 2.5 hours.
A total of 30 questions will be asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, 30 from Language I (compulsory), 30 from Language II (compulsory), 30 from Mathematics, and 30 from Environmental Studies.
For every right answer, candidates will be provided with 1 mark.
No negative marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
Paper 2
A total of 150 multiple-choice questions will be asked in CTET December 2024 examination.
The examination will be held in an offline mode.
Each paper will be conducted for 2.5 hours.
A total of 30 questions will be asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, 30 from Language I (compulsory), 30 from Language II (compulsory), 60 from Mathematics & Science, and 60 from Social Studies & Social Science.
For every right answer, candidates will be provided with 1 mark.
No negative marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
