CTET 2021 Result has been released on March 9. The CTET result will consist of the marks obtained by the candidates in the test. Based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the different subjects of CTET, the final scores will be allotted. The final score of the candidate will determine if the candidate has passed the test or not. The candidates who qualify for CTET will be eligible for the position of Teachers for Primary and Upper Primary level students at various Government schools.
In order to qualify for CTET 2021 exam, the candidates need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks. The qualifying marks are determined by the examination conducting committee. The CTET qualifying marks will be different for different categories of candidates. The CTET exam is conducted for a total of 150 marks. In order to qualify for the CTET exam, the candidates need to score 60% or more. That means the candidates need to score a minimum of 90 marks out of 150 to pass the exam.
The concession of qualifying marks for the reserved candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC) will be given by the School Management or the Government authorities as per their extant reservation policy. The CTET scores attain a major weightage in the recruitment process. Although, the CTET score will not guarantee the recruitment of the candidates. Qualifying the CTET exam is only one of the eligibility criteria for the appointment of teachers in schools.
