CUCET 2022 has released eligibility criteria to fill the application form. The candidates can check their age limit and educational qualifications in the news.
Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2022 has released the eligibility criteria for filling out the application form for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate-level courses. It is mandatory for the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria for CUCET 2022 for applying to different programmes of the participating universities of CUCET 2022. The application form will be rejected if the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria. The CUCET is conducted annually for application to different programmes for all the participating universities. It is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in a computer-based mode. The duration of the examination is 2 hours. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers.
The candidates must note down the age limit and educational qualification required for taking admission through CUCET 2022. The candidates must meet the eligibility criteria as required by the Central universities in order to apply and appear for CUCET 2022. The notification for application is likely to be released soon and the candidates must check this space to know the details about eligibility criteria program-wise.
CUCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit, and Educational Qualification
The eligibility criteria are mentioned below for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate-level courses.
For UG Courses
- The candidate applying for CUCET 2022 must be a citizen of India
- The candidate must have completed their class 12th examination from a recognized board.
- The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks for (general category) and 45% marks for (SC/ST category) in their 12th boards.
For PG Courses
- All Indian nationals are eligible to apply for CUCET 2022.
- Candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognised board/university if they are applying for a master’s degree.
- The candidates must have completed their graduation with 55% marks for (general category) and 50% marks for (SC/ST category) in order to be eligible for CUCET 2022.
For Ph.D. Courses
- Must be a citizen of India
- Candidates applying for Ph.D. programmes must have completed their master’s in the relevant stream from a recognised board.
- The candidates need to obtain a minimum of 55% marks in post-graduation for (general category) and a minimum of 50% marks for (SC/ST category).
