CUET 15th July 2022 General Test Analysis: CUET 2022 is being administered for 54,555 unique combinations of subjects for admissions into 90 universities across India whose first-ever paper is being held today, i.e. July 15, 2022 in two shifts. CUET General Test exam for July 15 is over and most of the questions were from the NCERT syllabus. There will be no General Test section in Slot 2. While Section A (Language) and Section B (Domain-Specific Subject) of the question paper vary depending on the choice of the candidate, Section C (General Test) was common for all students who appeared in Slot 1 i.e., the morning slot of 9 AM to 12:15 PM.

The general test was assigned a duration of 60 minutes wherein the candidates had to attempt any 60 questions out of the 75 given questions. Each correctly answered question will be awarded +5 marks while each incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of 1 mark. CUET General Test is being carried out for a total of 300 marks while the entire paper is for 700 marks. Questions in the General Test were asked from General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning.

Since General Test had no fixed or book-based syllabus, candidates were worried about this section. However, they did not find it much difficult. There were not many questions from reasoning and Static GK. The current affairs questions were about very recent events.
