CUET 15th July 2022 Question Paper Analysis: Maths, Commerce, Chemistry, Political Science

CUET 2022 Exam first day concluded for both, Slot 1 and Slot 2. The entrance test was held in CBT mode and the difficulty level for the same was easy to moderate. The first slot of CUET 15th July 2022 had a language test, domain-specific test and general test. The 2nd slot had a language test and a domain-specific test. CUET 2022 15th July Slot 1 Analysis (Subject-wise)
According to the experts and students, the Maths domain exam was of Moderate difficulty level. It had 2-3 questions from Relation & Function, 2 questions from Inverse Trignometry Function, 4 questions from Matrices, 2-3 questions from Continuity, Differentiability & Differentiation, 2-3 questions from Application of Derivatives etc. The question paper was a bit time-consuming.
For CUET 15th July Commerce, the difficulty level was easy to moderate. Accountancy had the majority of questions from Partnership, Fundamentals, Goodwill, Reconstitution and Dissolution). All in all, the commerce domain was doable.
CUET 15th July Slot 1 Chemistry was easy to moderate and Political Science had plenty of questions from NCERT. Political Science had more fact-based questions than applications based on topics like international organisations and recent developments in Indian politics.

Just like Slot 1, CUET 2022 Slot 2 also had most of the questions from NCERT. The Maths exam was a bit lengthy for students. Sociology and Economics had all conceptual questions with a difficulty level of Easy to Moderate.
Accountancy was easy to moderate and around 70% -80% of the paper was based on theoretical concepts. There were no surprises as the entire question paper was from the syllabus released by the conducting body.

In a nutshell, CUET 2022 Shift 1 and Shift 2 were simpler than the mock test released by NTA. It had most of the questions from NCERT only. Students did not face any challenges and the entrance exam was easier than they expected.
CUET 2022 will be held in 2 slots every day and the final exam is scheduled to be held on August 20, 2022.
