CUET 19th July 2022 English Analysis: CUET 2022 Phase 1 is being conducted on July 15, 16, 19, and 20 in two slots per day. Slot 1 or Shift 1 was held from 9 AM to 12:15 PM while Slot 2 or Shift 2 was held from 3 PM to 6:45 PM. For both slots of the CUET 2022 examination, Language was a compulsory test subject comprising 50 multiple-choice type questions out of which any 40 questions had to be answered. The Language section had a total of 13 choices for Slot 1 while for Slot 2, the candidates could choose any one of the 12 remaining languages.
In this article, a detailed analysis of CUET 19th July 2022 English language paper for both Shift 1 and Shift 2 has been provided. The exam pattern of Language for both slots is the same. The Language section holds 200 marks with each question carrying 5 marks. As negative marking is applicable, one mark will be deducted for every incorrectly marked answer.

Just like the previous exams of CUET, CUET 19th July 2022 English had questions from NCERT. RCs were not lengthy. They were straightforward and did not consume a lot of time of candidates. Para jumbles were extremely easy. Synonym/ Antonym and One word Substitutions were also doable.
