CUET Admission 2022: Know how admission process is conducted, counselling procedure

As CUET Result 2022 is released on September 16, many students are looking for details on how the admission process is going to be conducted. All the participating universities of CUET 2022 will start initiating the admission process for various UG courses, and an official notification will be placed on the respective websites. Almost 19,000 candidates scored 100 percentile in CUET 2022, and the competition for securing admission in various courses is going to be tough.

Here is how the admission process for CUET 2022 is to be conducted -

• While filling the online application form for CUET 2022, the candidates were asked to fill in their choice of universities. Students must that they are eligible to get admission in those universities only
• The participating universities of CUET 2022 will launch an official admission portal for CUET admission, and the candidates are advised to visit the official websites of participating universities to get an update on admission times.
• Delhi University has already launched the CSAS portal for UG admission, and the candidates will have to register with their CUET UG application number
• For universities that have affiliated colleges like DU and BHU, the admission process will be based on a course-wise merit list, choice filling (choosing college options) and seat allotment
• Various central universities will start releasing the course-wise merit list for admission in UG courses, and the candidates need to check the admission portals of these universities. The merit list is prepared on the basis of percentile or marks secured in the entrance exam
• For some universities, the counselling process will be conducted in 2-3 rounds. For example, DU is conducting 3 rounds of counselling to fill the seats
