CUET Question Paper 2023 to have Internal Choice: Know section-wise total number of questions to be answered
NTA has released the CUET 2023 section-wise question pattern on the official website. The candidates, who are interested to apply for CUET 2023 exam, should refer to the section-wise question pattern.
National Testing Agency has scheduled the CUET 2023 exam from May 21 to 31, 2023 in online mode. Whereas the CUET UG 2023 reserved dates are June 1 to 7. The candidates who wish to apply for the CUET exam 2023, should refer to the exam pattern and take preparation accordingly. NTA will conduct the CUET exam for completing admission to undergraduate admissions in 44 central universities and 46 other institutions. As per the official notification, CUET 2023 registration last date is March 12, 2023. CUET 2023 application form is available at the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in.
CUET Question Paper Pattern 2023
It is necessary to have a clear knowledge of the CUET 2023 question paper pattern and the section-wise total number of questions before appearing for the exam. It will be helpful to get a good score in the CUET 2023 exam.

Section 1A- Languages | There are 13 different languages (anyone needs to be chosen) | 40 questions out of 50 questions in each language need to be attempted |
Section 1B- Languages | One language needs to be chosen out of 20 languages | |
Section 2- Domain Specific Subjects | 27 domain-specific subjects will be offered under this section. Candidates must select any desired subject by the applicable organization/ University | 35/40 questions to be attempted out of 45/50 |
Section 3- General Test | For undergraduate program/ programs being offered by the Universities where a General Test will be used for admission | 50 questions out of 60 questions to be attempted |
Note, the candidates have to select a maximum of 10 subjects from all the above three sections.
CUET 2023 Exam Pattern
Here in the following section, the brief overview of the CUET 2023 exam pattern has been highlighted-
- Mode of CUET exam: Online (computer-based test)
- Exam duration: 3 hours 15 minutes (slot 1); Slot 2 time duration is varied whereas slot 3 time will be notified
- 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer; whereas no mark will be given for the unattempted answers
