• Canada Wildfires: Almost 35,000 stranded citizens in the state of British Columbia have been ordered to be prepared for evacuation as the wildfire intensifies in Canada

• Russia’s Luna-25 Crashes on Moon Surface: Roscosmos, a Russian Space organisation has declared its ambitious Luna-25 mission a failure as the spacecraft crashed on the moon after it spun into another orbit. The organisation also shared that this will not affect the future space projects lined up for the upcoming year.

• Netherlands Hands over F-16s to Ukraine: In a major advancement, the Netherlands has provided aid of 15 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine in its ongoing war with Russia. This military aid has been supported by the USA.
