  • PM Modi Named Chandraan-3 Moon Landing Site as ‘ShivShakti Point’: While addressing the scientists at ISRO, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the location of the Rover on the moon's surface will be called ‘ShivShakti Point’ from now onwards.

  • Air Force to Study Required Transport Equipment: The Indian Air Force will be conducting a detailed study on its need to transport heavy and important equipment and the aircraft required to do so. IAF currently has a transport fleet of around 250 aircraft including the biggest C-17 Globemaster.

  • 160 Flights to be Cancelled in Delhi from 8 to 10 September: As a security measure for the upcoming G-20 Summit, The government has cancelled around 160 flights at Delhi Airport between 8 to 10 September to keep the venue of the G-20 Summit as a ‘No-Flying Zone’.

  • Idalia Storm Takes Form in Gulf of Mexico, Might Hit US Coastline: Tropical Storm ‘Idalia’ has formed in the Gulf of Mexico and it might hit the United States of America in the coming week. Experts have speculated that it might impact with severe damage.

  • Indian Women’s Visually Challenged Cricket Team Won at IBSA World Games: The Indian Women's Team wrote history on Saturday as it won the gold medal by beating Australia in the finals.
