• FSSAI Introduces Provision of ‘Special Category’ to Promote Gender Equality: Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has come up with a new provision of ‘Special Category’ for Women and Transgenders in the online Food Safety Compliance System. These category applicants will be given preference in their applications

• Information and Broadcasting Ministry Releases Amendments to Television Cable Network Rules: The ministry has added some new provisions for the cable TV network providers to share their infrastructure with the broadband service providers. Some other rules have also been amended in the new revision

• EAM S. Jaishankar Visits USA Amid Tensions with Canada: The External Affairs Minister of India S. Jaishankar met the National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Secretary of the State Antony Blinken in the USA on Thursday in the current diplomatic tensions with Canada. EAM stated that these meetings are routine and important but also significant during the diplomatic challenges with Canada
