Career Point University and Junior Chamber International (JCI) are jointly hosting the talk show event with Mumbai’s Dabbawalas. They will teach ‘management lessons’ to students of Career Point University, Kota on April 17 in University campus. Mumbai’s Dabbawalas Known for their management skills, they will share information about their management skills and experience with students of Kota. Dabbawalas of Mumbai have got a ‘Six Sigma’ certification secured only to highly expert organisations. Mumbai’s Dabbawalas distribute nearby 2 lakh tiffin in 60 km area within 3 hours daily. Due to their nearly error-free performance accuracy. Organising chairman of the show Lokesh Maheshwari said Dabbawalas, a group of 5,000 people are sweating professionally since 125 years, distributing tiffin (lunch boxes) to the people of Mumbai. JCI president Vinay Sharma said they are not very highly paid, Dabbawalas complete their work with accuracy and professionalism which is a management lesson. “That’s why Career Point University and Junior Chamber International (JCI) have jointly organised a talk show with Dabbawalas at University auditorium in Kota in which four Dabbawalas will share key aspects of their management skills. Time management, quality assurance and dedication can be learnt from Dabbawalas,” he informed. “Mumbai’s Dabbawalas have earned their position in the Guinness Book of World Records for their work.
