Date for AIIMS MBBS 2017 Correction in Application Extended
AIIMS New Delhi to allow aspiring MBBS candidates to correct their AIIMS MBBS 2017 application forms till 15 March 2017.
In order to give aspiring MBBS candidates of 2017 one more chance to correct their application form, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will allow them to correct their AIIMS MBBS 2017 application forms till March 15, 2017.
As per the latest notification of AIIMS on March 6, 2017, candidates who applied for the course can make the final corrections to their application forms of AIIMS MBBS from 10 a.m on March 8, 2017 until 5.00 p.m March 15, 2017. The correction facilities will be opened to those candidates who have already submitted their application fees and marked their city choice in the prescribed form.

Please note that prior to the above mentioned date change, February 23 was the designated last date for submission of the AIIMS MBBS application forms, and the timeline for rectification/ correction of forms was betwen March 1, 2017 to March 3, 2017. But due to several discrepancies in the form, like:
- Selection of Exam centre
- Uploading of images
- Qualification details
- Furnishing all the details etc, the authority of the institute planned to give the candidates another chance.
Candidates who fail to correct their application forms will not be issued Admit Cards and they will not even be allowed to contact the AIIMS Authority at the time of examination. In addition, after lapse of the correction window, no further correspondence will be entertained.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be held on May 28, 2017, for admissions to the 707 seats across 7 AIIMS in the country. The examination will be held through the Computer Based Test (CBT) and it will be conducted in two shifts. Each shift will be of 3 hours 30 minutes duration. Around 1.5 lakhs students had applied for the examination in 2016.
