Professor VB Gupta, head of SDSF spoke in depth about this initiative. He said that as a result of years of information technology deployment, the organisations now have more information at hand than ever before about their business environment. Unfortunately, the organisations are not able to utilise the information to get the most of it. So, DAVV has decided to produce business analysts who can play a key role in such organisations. He further added that the course will help unlock the predictive capacity of data analysis to enhance operational efficiency, strategic management and financial performance.
Business Analytics is the intersection of data science and business management, offering assistance in strategizing and optimising business revenues.
The programme aims to train students to use new tools to accelerate product innovation, make predictions about the future business and for identifying the drivers of financial performance. The principal features of the course include interaction with the industry, business analytics training and the availability of placement openings. This course is designed for the candidates interested in mathematical and analytical skills.
