DCI Plans to Conduct Separate Counselling for NEET MDS 2024: As per the official notice released by the Secretary-In-Charge, DCI, Government of India shall conduct NEET MDS 2024 counselling sessions separately for the year 2024. The official schedule for the counselling process is yet to be announced. However, it will be conducted before NEET PG Medical Counselling 2024. So far NEET PG and NEET MDS combined counselling has been conducted for aspirants.
All over the country, MDS aspirants demanded for the postponement of the examination, despite the same, NEET MDS 2024 exam is currently scheduled for March 18, 2024. Dr. Sarvesh Pandey, General Secretary of FORDA India tweeted, "FORDA India met with MoHFW officials regarding 'NEET MDS' with dental representatives and let's hope for a positive outcome. Please continue study." This year, the number of exam cities has been reduced to 56, which was earlier 76. The NEET MDS 2024admit cards are all set to be released on the official website on March 13, 2024.

Furthermore, they have assured their active participation in the matter to the apex court. The primary concern of MDS aspirants is making over 8000 students ineligible for the exam and questioning their transparency and fairness over the selection criteria. FORDA has urged the GOI to extend the date to allow students more time to prepare.
