Deemed Medical Colleges to Conduct Admissions Separately
The deemed universities/institutes are not conducting admissions based on the NEET and they are going to conduct admissions separately.
There has been a lot of uncertainty regarding the medical admissions for the deemed university/institutes. The second phase of NEET examination is going to be held on 24-July-2016. The examination is conducted for the admission into MBBS/BDS courses in various medical colleges. The deemed universities/institutes are not conducting admissions based on the NEET score and they are going to conduct admissions separately.
Most of the parents and students are disappointed with the current system and opined that how many tests they have to take to seek admission. According to the process, the NEET is applicable to admission into medical courses at all the medical colleges/institutes. It is not fair for the deemed universities to conduct the admissions separately.
Most of the students are demanding that the admission process for deemed universities must conduct Centralized Admission Process (CAP) like all other medical colleges which are participating in NEET. The rule must be same for all the institutes. There might be a scope for deemed universities to demand more fee if they conduct admissions out of NEET arena. So, the admissions must be conducted under CAP.
The students and parents are recommending the government to look into this matter and draw out the conclusions as soon as possible.
