The Delhi High Court has denied the plea of a student who attempted NEET and challenged the answer keys announced by the CBSE. The court says that reviewing the answer keys is not possible as the answer keys are prepared by particular subject experts. The Central Board of Secondary Education announced the answer keys only when the experts gave the nod. The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Exam has been in controversy since it was announced.

The plea was denied or rejected by the Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva of Delhi High Court. He said while discarding the request that the court cannot take the responsibility of correcting or reviewing the answer keys and this task can only be done by the CBSE or other involved associations. He also said that in this situation he will not be exercising the powers under Article 226 of the constitution.

There was another reason that the court had which was that there was no provision mentioned anywhere under which NEET 2016 answer sheets could be rejected or re-evaluated.

The complaint was filed by Sagar Sanjeev Dua against the CBSE which was the conducting body of NEET 2016. He requested a separate panel of experts to review particular five questions of NEET.
