Delhi School of Journalism (DSJ) to Offer Courses for Working Journalists
DSJ will soon begin short-term courses for working journalists. The classes for such courses will take place over the weekend for working journalists and students.
Delhi School of Journalism (DSJ) which was started in 2017 may soon begin short-term courses for working journalists from the next academic session. The recently established school which is currently running its second batch for Masters in Journalism is planning to start short-term courses for working journalists and students.
The school currently offers a Masters in Journalism, which is a five-year integrated course. Manasvini Yogi, Officer-on-Special Duty for DSJ said that since it is a new college and they have just begun with the second batch, it will take them some time but they have plans to introduce the short-term courses by 2020 or if possible even 2019.

DSJ is planning a course in digital journalism for which classes may be held on the weekends for working professionals. Yogi said that it is too early to talk about that as of now and the kind of courses they plan to start but a digital journalism course is on their agenda. Since it will cater to the working journalists, the classes for this will take place on the weekends.

The school has a batch of 120 students as of now and there are more than 200 students across the two batches. It offers courses in news reporting and editing, programming for media, print, broadcast and radio, new and social media, film and online media technology. DSJ is located at the University Sports Stadium-North Campus and has a spacious campus with state-of-the-art academic infrastructure.
