Delhi University: Check Out the Schedule of ECA Trials for Admissions 2018
- Delhi University has announced the dates for ECA trials for admission under the Extra Co-Curricular Quota quota.
- Students enrolling through ECA Quota will have to pay Rs. 100 registration fees.
- DU offers close to 54,000 seats for different UG programmes.
Dates for admission to undergraduate courses offered by the Delhi University for academic year 2018 have been announced. The admission process will be conducted entirely online and applications can be filled through the official university website.
The Delhi University has also announced the dates for ECA trials for students who wish to take admission under the Extra Co-Curricular Quota (ECA) quota. Students enrolling through ECA Quota will have to pay Rs. 100 registration fees.

In 2018, DU has taken initiatives to put a check on cut-offs by permitting aspirants to enrol only once. In order to do so, the Delhi University has made it mandatory for students to fill in their Class 12 roll number so that any student cannot fill a second registration form with the same roll number. Also, DU has added the provision of cancelling the application in case students have filled duplicate forms to avoid errors.
Ony 5% seats are reserved under the ECA category in courses offered by DU colleges. A relaxation of up to 15% is allowed in the final DU Cut-off to students who have qualified ECA trials. Check the details of DU ECA admissions, selection criteria and fees here.

Also, DU has given the aspirants a provision to make changes in their centralised DU online application form till the last date of the admission process. Delhi University offers close to 54,000 seats for different UG programmes. Out of these, 1,600 seats are filled on the basis of a student’s performance in the entrance exam conducted by DU.
