Delhi University to Hold Open Day for Female Students
DU will be holding a session especially for female students on 8th June for the first time to help them with their admission-related queries. Delhi University Open Days provide a platform for DU aspirants to clear their doubts regarding the admission process.
Delhi University will be holding a session especially for female students on June 8 for the first time to help them with their admission-related queries. The first session of the Open Day is already done and the second session of the DU Open Day will be dedicated to female students only.
According to the DU officials, the university offers various courses especially for girls and there are several women’s only colleges, so the decision was well thought. Some of the women's only colleges are Daulat Ram College, Bharati College, Lakshmibai College, Jesus and Mary College, etc.
The varsity organises Open Days at the beginning of the Delhi University Admission season. The Open Days serve as a platform for all the DU aspirants and their parents to clear doubts about the admission process and other related queries. One of the most common queries raised by the students during the Open House was that the change in weightage given to Mathematics in the eligibility criteria for B.A. (Hons) Economics and B.Com (Hons) at the last moment.
Dr Manoj Khanna, DU Admission Committee also raised several issues such as the procedure of documents applying for the applying under the EWS quota. Many students also reported that they are unable to receive the OTP to log into the DU registration portal.

The Delhi University Open Days will take place both in the North Campus and South Campus. The Open Days dates are - 1st June and 8th June 2019. This platform will help students clear their doubts and have a better understanding of the DU Admission Process. Many students who are looking forward to the admissions are out of the state, this will help them get familiar with the entire process of the varsity.
