Delhi University: No Study Material for SOL UG Students in Six Months
- The undergraduate students enrolled at SOL have not received printed study material for preparation of exams.
- Many of the students are still unaware of the structure of course and syllabus.
The authorities of School of Open Learning (SOL) at the University of Delhi have been constantly failing to dispatch the study material for the students enrolled in different courses. The undergraduate students, who enrolled in SOL six months ago, have not received printed study material so far.
On the other hand, SOL commenced the classes for UG students three weeks ago, and many of the students are still unaware of the structure of course and syllabus. The year-end or annual exams for SOL UG students will begin in May or June 2018, and it is becoming difficult for the students to prepare for exams due to the delay in disbursing the study material.

Recently, postgraduate students enrolled in various courses at SOL received printed study materials only a week before the examinations. The delay will affect the performance of students in the examinations and students might end up in getting less percentage in their exams.
Responding on the issue, SOL Executive Director, Mr. H C Pokhriyal revealed that they had started disbursing printed study materials from December 26, 2017, onwards.
