DHE Odisha Releases UG Second Selection List
- The selection list will have the name of the candidate and the name of the college in which he/she has secured a seat.
- According to sources, DHE Odisha will release the third selection list on July 18 and the classes for the first year UG courses will begin on July 24.
Directorate of Higher Education, Odisha also called as DHE Odisha has released the second selection list for the admission to UG courses or +3. Actually, DHE Odisha was to release the second selection list on July 8, 2017. However, the process was delayed by four days. Now, the candidates can check the official portal of DHE Odisha. The selection list will have the name of the candidate and the name of the college in which he/she has secured a seat. According to sources, DHE Odisha will release the third selection list on July 18, 2017, and the classes for the first year UG courses will begin on July 24, 2017.

After the first round selection process, a total number of 1,57,188 candidates secured seats in various UG colleges, out of which 82,047 were female candidates. There was more demand for Science stream than Commerce and Arts streams in the first round. This year, around 2,34,893 candidates registered for UG admissions.

During the first round selection process, 834 general colleges took part in the e-admission process. The total seats available in all these colleges are 2,17,973. 1,57,188 seats have been filled in the first round. According to sources, 1,24,748 candidates have taken the admission so far. The second list has been released for the vacant 93,225 seats. Depending on the number of seats remain vacant after the second round, DHE Odisha will release the list of vacant seats in various colleges.
